Introducing The Wave
A mouse, or pen and tablet is not always the fastest or easiest way to use your colour grading software. Wouldn’t it be better if you had something real to get a hold of? Well, the Wave allows you to do just that.
AffordableTechnology With the Wave, Tangent bring a new level of affordability and quality to control surfaces. The design draws heavily on the experience gained from their highly successful CP100 and CP200 panel ranges. The Wave is not intended to replace these panels, it is just aimed at the more budget conscious user.
Superbly Designed
Stylish enough to look good in any grading suite and compact enough to be used for on-set grading, you'll find all the controls you'd expect from a colour grading panel without compromising on the essential ergonomics. The wave features crisp, easy to read, cool-blue OLED displays and custom tracker ball units based on a non-contacting optical pick-up. With enough buttons and knobs to keep your most needed controls at your fingertips, the Wave will increase your productivity, leaving you to get on with what you're best at doing - being creative!

CP200 series
The CP200 panels use proven high quality components. Some of these have
their origins in the F1 motor racing and aerospace industries. The fascias
are machined from a solid 12mm thick aluminium block giving the panel
a strong, weighty feel that reinforces the overall quality. The displays
are Vacuum Florescent Displays (VFD) which give a good contrast ratio
and wide viewing angle, making them far superior to equivalent LCD or
LED displays. All the control knobs are optical digital rotary encoders,
giving a smooth high resolution response and a long life.
There are 4 panel types:
The CP200-BK, The CP200-TS, CP200-K and the CP200-S
CP200-BK: used for primary colour grading with the addition
of three knobs to control parameters such as pan/scan or basic secondary
grading controls
CP200-TS: used to provide the user with a familiar transport
layout for controlling VTR like source and record decks. In many applications
these will not be 'real' VTR's, but instead will be data files stored
on a computer based storage system
CP200-K: for users who require fingertip control of a large
number of parameters, with each parameter having its own rotary control
knob
CP200-S: is designed to complete the set. It has 4 rows of
5 buttons, with display above each row. The displays can either label
the function of the buttons or provide at-a-glance feedback
