Tiger Technology is proud to announce the immediate availability of version 4.9 of metaSAN, metaSAN iSCSI, metaLAN Server, and metaLAN.
New in release 4.9:
> (Mac) Support for Mac OS X Lion
> (Mac/Win) Cloud-based storage pool
Upgrade eligibility:
Release build 4.9 is now available for download to all users currently covered under Subscription (i.e. those who have purchased after September 1st 2010 and those who have paid for Subscription).
New in release 4.6.1:
> (Win) Support for Internet Information Services on NTFS SAN Volumes
> (Win/Mac) Support for FilmPartners MXFserver (share Avid and FCP projects)
> (Win/Mac) Several bug/stability fixes
> (Linux) Support for 2.6.9-78 Kernel CentOS Linux 4 (Blackmagic Revival)
> (Linux) Support for 2.6.18.128.el5.ADSK Kernel Linux RHEL 5 (Autodesk Flame/Smoke)
Known limitations:
No Support for Symbolic Links on Linux or Windows (i.e. no support for Link Mode on Blackmagic Revival)
Upgrade eligibility:
Release build 4.6.1 is now available for download to all users currently on metaSAN 4.x
Users still running older versions of metaSAN can upgrade to 4.x by taking Subscription.
